Yesterday, our NBA betting tips weren’t so hot. The first game was perfect, Cleveland vs Miami. We took Cavaliers favorited by 12 points against the spread at -110 odds and won. However, the Pacers lost and the Lakers lost which made us 1-2 on picks and 1-4 on bets since I added the parlay and teaser bets.

Tonight the NBA have 10 games. Normally I would just pick 2-3 games to bet on but tonight I am placing bets on all 10 games. Let’s see how well we do. As always I will be using 5% of my bankroll to place a bet on each game. Below all odds are provided by Bovada.lv.
Milwaukee Bucks vs Washington Wizards Odds
- Bucks: spread +4 (-110), moneyline +150
- Wizards: spread -4 (-110), moneyline -170
- Over/Under: 211 (-110)
Pick: $5 on Bucks +4 spread at -110 odds.
Reason for pick: Normally I bet against teams that played the previous night. However, I believe the lost to Atlanta will put these guys in the mode to play hard tonight. Bucks may not win but they will cover the spread. If you want to go by records the last 10 matchups between Bucks and Wizards the Wizards are leading 7-3, against the spread 5-5.
Nuggets at Orlando Magic Odds
- Nuggets: spread -2 (-110), moneyline -125
- Magic: spread +2 (-110), moneyline +105
- Over/Under: 205 (o -115, u -105)
Pick: $5 on Magic +2 spread at -110 odds.
Reason to pick: Honestly, I wasn’t prepared for this match up. I had to do some research and look over the numbers before making my pick. Both team are struggling this season but I do believe Magic will come out the winner of this game. Given the odds are close, I went with betting against the spread just in case Magic lose I still win the bet.
Portland Trail Blazers at Indiana Pacers Odds
- Blazers: spread -1.5 (-110), moneyline -125
- Pacers: spread +1.5 (-110), +105, moneyline
- Over/Under: 217 (-110)
Pick: $5 on Blazers -1.5 spread at -110 odds.
Reason to pick: In the last 10 games Portland have won 7-3, as well as against the spread 7-3. Also, Pacers played last night and weren’t impressive at all. I expect the Blazers to win this game by 5-10 points.
Charlotte Hornets at Cleveland Cavaliers Odds
- Hornets: spread +7.5 (-115), moneyline +270
- Cavaliers: spread -7.5 (-105), moneyline -340
- Over/Under: 213 (o -115, u -105)
Pick: $5 on Cavaliers -7.5 spread at -105 odds.
Reason to pick: There’s not much to say why I picked the Cavaliers. Last night Cleveland beat Miami by 30 points. The Cavaliers are winning by an average of 22 points. I expect much of the same tonight.
Miami Heat at Chicago Bulls Odds
- Heat: spread +10 (-115), moneyline +350
- Bulls: spread -10 (-105), moneyline -500
- Over/Under: 201 (o -105, u -115)
Pick: $5 on Bulls -10 spread at -105 odds.
Reason to pick: Heat truly laid down against Cleveland last night. I expect the Bulls to beat Miami by 10-20 points tonight. I’m sure the Heat are tired from playing against the Cavaliers.
Golden State Warriors at Memphis Grizzlies Odds
- Warriors: spread -13 (-110), moneyline -1200
- Grizzlies: spread +13 (-110), moneyline +700
- Over/Under: 211 (-110)
Pick: $5 on Warriors -13 spread at -110 odds.
Reason to pick: Head to head over the past 10 games the Warriors have won 8-2, 7-3 against the spread. Grizzlies have a really good defense but I don’t expect them to stop the unstoppable Golden State offense. If the spread was just 2 points less I would say this might be one of the safest bets tonight.
Dallas Mavericks at Houston Rockets Odds
- Mavericks: spread +12.5 (-110), moneyline +650
- Rockets: spread -12.5 (-110), moneyline -1100
- Over/Under: 210 (-110)
Pick: $5 on Rockets -12.5 spread at -110 odds.
Reason to pick: Both of these teams played last night and they played hard. Dallas beat the Pacers (we lost that bet) and Houston beat OKC. Following such a great victory against OKC, I expect to see the Rockets steam roll over the Mavericks tonight. I can’t see Dallas putting in the same effort they did last night.
Brooklyn Nets at San Antonio Spurs Odds
- Nets: spread +15.5 (-110), moneyline +1100
- Spurs: spread -15.5 (-110), moneyline -2300
- Over/Under: 209 (o -115, u -105)
Pick: $5 on Spurs -15.5 spread at -110 odds.
Reason to pick: Spurs seem to always do well during the regular season. Head-to-head against the Nets. San Antonio is 8-2, 7-3 against the spread. Brooklyn has been struggling this season from the very beginning. Playing against the Spurs in San Antonio, this will be an easy game for the Spurs but I am not too sure they will cover the spread. This is one of those just go with your gut bets.
Sacramento Kings at Utah Jazz Odds
- Kings: spread +6 (-110), moneyline +205
- Jazz: spread -6 (-110), moneyline -245
- Over/Under: 196 (-110)
Pick: $5 on Jazz -6 spread at -110 odds.
Reason to pick: Kings vs Jazz head to head stats, Jazz lead 6-4 in the last 10 games, 5-4-1 against the spread and the over under 6-4. Fun fact, the Kings have lost as many as the Jazz won at 14 games. Utah have been playing pretty good this season, so im going with a safe bet tonight with the Utah Jazz.
New Orleans Pelicans at Los Angeles Clippers Odds
- Pelicans: spread +14 (-110), moneyline +850
- Clippers: spread -14 (-110), moneyline -1700
- Over/Under: 200 (-110)
Pick: $5 on Over 200 at -110 odds.
Reason to pick: This game is really hard for me to pick a winner or at least pick a team against the spread. Last time these two played Clippers won by 18 points but that doesn’t tonight will be a blowout. They have had close games before. So my safe bet is over 200 total points at -110 odds.
