ELEAGUE Major 2017 is a 16 team Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament in Fox Theatre, Atlanta, Georiga, United States on January 22, 2017. The 16 teams participating in this tournament coming from around the world to win their share in the $1,000,000 prize pool.

The top 8 teams in the ESL One Cologne 2016 event are the “Legends” in the 2017 ELEAGUE Major. These teams did NOT have to go through the ELEAGUE Major qualifier. The “Legends” are the following teams.

The 8 teams that made it through the ELEAGUE Major offline qualifier are the “Challengers” in the 2017 ELEAGUE Major. These teams had to fight their way through the qualifier using the “Swiss System Format” which means you had to win 3 best of ones. Always playing another team with the same record. * Players didn’t resign their contracts with Team Dignitas and signed with F.C. Copenhagen. The players will be playing under the new multi-game team called North. So beginning Jan. 1st, 2017 the ex-Team Dignitas roster will be North CS:GO.
