This is one of those games that should be a battle for the defense. It all depends on how well Lions defense stop the run and Cowboys defense stop the passing. Lions defense allow 20 points per game while the Cowboys defense allow 18 points per game. If the offense for both teams find some good spots to push down field then they are sure to reach their points per game average.
Even though this might be a defensive game, I still say the safest bet would be over 45.5 points. I think Dallas will win the game but I am not sure if they will cover the spread tonight against the Lions. It just might come down to a field goal to win the game.
